Proverbs 10:20 Sweets Valuable Words

Proverbs 10:20

The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver, The heart of the wicked is worth little.

The words we speak have value, those who know who you or I recognize our voice and that will happen either face to face, on the telephone, or how we type our words on a cellphone, laptop, or tablet. If a Christian wants to sound like God, his or her words should be how the Holy Bible reads and sounds, and the word of God has no uncleanness or anything that is not wholesome. Before my walk with God, my words were pretty foul, and to be truthful I love music or movies with foul language. Between 1999 and 2003 I had a job at a place called Harris Welco. I tried to make a friend, but my co-workers would complain to a human resource that I cussed or swore too much, and the music I listened to was vulgar. I try to work on my language but it was difficult, but my music, I just play songs without bad language in it. When I became a Christian I really didn’t try to cuss less, but it happens as I read more of God’s word, the way I talked, and how others heard me changed. As for the music and movies I enjoy, I simply started looking for music that praises Jesus and my taste in movies changed as well. I simply did not enjoy hearing foul language or even, in the same manner, seeing unclean images. As followers of the Lord, our duty is to share and tell others about Jesus, and how He loves them and saved them from the life of hell there is without Him. I have many people witness about Jesus in many ways, but the one way I can’t stand is when use or says unwhole words, especially words not in the Holy Bible or words that no respectful person would say with their parents, in front of children, in church or even in court. Once I saw a couple of dudes, witnessing Jesus and their language was just one cuss or swear word one after the other. For example in the year 2000, a movie called “ The Original Kings of Comedy ” was released and it features  Steve Harvey, D.L. Hughley, Cedric the Entertainer, and Bernie Mac. It was very funny for many people but once in a while the comedian would say something about Jesus, with foul language but still, the comedian like Bernie Mac or Steve Harvey would say something you wanna repeat in a kindergarten class. The surprise is that the Original Kings of Comedy is the most highly money-making stand-up comedy movie ever made and people would laugh at the funny foul joke they heard but say Amen at the same time. Many people may not see anything wrong with it, but many Christian believe in the “WWJD” What would Jesus Do, would Jesus words and language vulgar words that actually drive make people cover their ears or feel unpleasant, no! The idea is to have our words sound or taste like sweet honey and not like vinegar. The famous saying is an old American proverb: if you really want to catch as many flies as you truly desire, use honey as the bait and you will catch many. If you love God and want to win many souls to the kingdom of heaven, make how others hear you talk, sound sweet like honey-like they come out of Jesus’ mouth. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I, Samuel J H.

Ecclesiastes 10:11 If the serpent bites before being charmed, there is no benefit for the charmer. 12 Words from the mouth of a wise person are gracious, while the lips of a fool consume him; 13 the beginning of his talking is foolishness, and the end of it is evil insanity. 14 Yet the fool multiplies words. No person knows what will happen, and who can tell him what will come after him?
