Proverbs 10:11 Where the Truth Is?
The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
Role models come and go and it hard to say if he or she is honestly a good role model. In my lifetime I have seen so many so-call role models, fall from grace and hit rock bottom. I remember when I was a little boy, I remember watching Bill Crosby on Captian Kangaroo, this was a preschool tv program. Bill Crosby did a small called Picture page. Bill Crosby was good at art and with his talent, he created “Fat Albert”, Bill Crosby wanted to use “ Fat Albert to educate children easier. In the 1980s Crosby wanted a family tv program and called it “ the Crosby Family “. It was successful but the Crosby family looks too perfect to accept as a real-life family. After the Crosby show, Bill did a show called, Kids Say the Darndest Things, where he would ask little children question and get a laugh out of their response. Bill went back into the preschool tv program and created a show called “ Little Bill, “ trying once again to teach young children. In 2004 Bill Crosby delivered what is nicknamed the Pound Cake at an NAACP ceremony, he told the African American community to use better language and not such foul words in their music, movies, and tv, and also be more responsible and have a whole family and not single-parent homes. He was saying that behavior was bad for the black community as a whole. In 2010, Crosby’s righteous words meant nothing anymore, many women had revealed that Crosby has sexually assaulted them. After that many tv stations had removed everything Crosby ever made, trying to erase his good guy, family loving image away from existence. As a Christian man, many people call me a man of God and some say God has blessed me and the Lord has made me wise. Personally, I don’t feel so blessed, and I do things, I know are wrong. My family, like my sisters, nephews, and sisters don’t do much with me. I get label self-righteous, and I don’t even feel righteous, I get called judgemental, and I try to love everyone equally. Everything I do, I do to spread the message of God’s love and His good new gospel. I don’t try to fake, I want to be 100% real, I don’t want to sugarcoat I want to tell the truth. I don’t take part in any pagan traditions mix with Christian holidays Like Jesus said in the Holy Scripture, whoever does the will of Jesus’ Father is my family and otherwise I hope you give your life to Jesus, if not enjoy the life you have, it’s all you get.
