Matthew 5:5 Blessed Are the Meek, Not Aggressive
Blessed are the meek, For they shall inherit the earth.
The Sermon on the Mount tells the followers of Jesus, how we can be blessed, and they all go against what the nature people are taught & believe. In the greatest sermon ever preached, Jesus says you will be happy or blessed if you are meek and not aggressive. The world has three definitions for meek;
Matthew 5:39 But I say to you, do not resist an evil person; but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.

1 is enduring injury with patience and without resentment. The word of God has the same meaning;

2 Definition of meek is; deficient in spirit and courage : submissive. Once again scripture says the same thing;
Philippians 2:3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.
3 Definition of meek is; not violent or strong : Moderate, the word of God says the same thing;
Leviticus 19:18 You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
Just because someone is meek in spirit doesn’t mean he or she is weak, they know they have love for the Lord, and they know the best way to reach the lost of the world is to show gentleness, cause aggressive behavior can push people away. A student of God’s word knows the aggressive have a short time, and maybe by being humble & meek to them, the spirit of gentleness, will make them have a change of heart. The people of the world love an action hero, someone with the skill to fight back, and know the enemy each move. The Lord blessed those who are meek to those who mistreat them, there is no happiness in return, hate for hate, it only invites more evil and no one is blessed in the environment.
Proverbs 17:13 Whoever rewards evil for good, Evil will not depart from his house.
In the event we have seen recently, some people react violently as they demand justice and peace. The images of destruction and the commandments of God being broken, like this;
Exodus 20:15“You shall not steal.
It make happiness for someone apart from the humbleness of God to take their revenge and make place that look like it had civilization into chaos what may say resemble a warzone, but it’s the Lord’s people who do a act of meekness and get on their knee and pray for a blessing, which really mean, blessed are those who are happy, cause they practice meekness. The Sermon on the Mount tells us, the meek will be the last one standing on the earth, the violent and aggressive, will have fought themselves to death.
