Matthew 5:31-32 God Created Marriage, Man Crested Divorce

Matthew 5:31-32

31“It was said, ‘Whoever sends his wife away, let him give her a certificate of divorce’; 32 but I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except for the reason of unchastity, makes her commit adultery; and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

I am a child of a broken home, & I know the pain & suffering that divorce can cause. I have relationship problems & it maybe way, I am single but I don’t know God’s plan for me. Marriage is an institution the Lord created in the Garden of Eden & it still exists to this day. But marriage doesn’t seem to be something the people honor anymore, cause a couple can very easily end a marriage. When Jesus was delivering this part of Sermon on the Mount, most husbands & wife, maintained a lifelong relationship & it was over when one of them passed away. The Lord God created marriage & He hates divorce with a passion, He knows the damage it does, to His children. 

Malachi 2:16 For I hate divorce,” says the Lord, the God of Israel, “and him who covers his garment with wrong,” says the Lord of hosts. “So take heed to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.”

Jesus tells the large crowd of believers that adultery,or unfaithfulness is the only reason for divoroce. The Lord doesn’t like unfaithfulness & doesn’t want His sons & daughter to live with it. Many people get divorced for stupid reasons, some use financial reasons, or a partner falls out love, or as a lot of celebrities say irreconcilable differences. But don’t reason have no ground according to Jesus’s sermon & if a married couple separates for these reasons, any relationships the man & woman have later with other people , is adultery in the eyes of God. God hates divorce because it is the brokenness of a vow, a vow between two  people who once loved each other & became one flesh. Most of the time marriage produces children because they are labor or love. Divorce not only wreaks the lives of thr husband & wife, the children’s outlook on the relationship forever be changed. The best way for a husband & wife to love each other is to love the Creator of your spouse. He forms the heart of the person who loves you, & with His word in your heart & their’s, each other will to love the other more themselves. Then love your children more than yourselves, the Lord God form your son & daughter’s heart also. If you show them the love of God, then they will grow up knowing how to be loyal to God & their future spouse. Divorce is nasty, but love & marriage is beautiful, if you married, love God first & love your family as you would yourself & pray & worship God together.
