Matthew 21:45-46 Jesus the Vine , God the Vinedresser
Matthew 21:45-46
To the kingdom of heaven there are two types of people, those who are sorry they are hateful and disobedient to God the Father, those who are only mad that they got caught. After hearing Jesus’ story of the wicked tenants, the Pharisee knew they had sinned against the Lord they said they represented. When the Pharisee learned they were the guilty party did they have change of heart, by no means. They wanted to do the very thing the parable of the wicked vineyard workers had been doing for years, seize Jesus the Son of God and put Him to an end. They suffered from personal desires, which is to have personal glory and have the people they preach to worship them and not the God the Father. They fear the people’s reaction and not the Lord’s reaction, they only reason they didn’t seize Jesus because the people favor Jesus as a prophet. But it wasn’t long after Matthew 21, the feelings of the crowd changed to want to seize Jesus. The simple fact is that no matter is no how much Jesus reveals that His is the Son of God , some and many will reject His authority. Any who doesn’t worship and love the Lord here on earth will not do so In the kingdom of God. To do this type of people would be to experience hell in heaven. I personally know I can’t wait to drink the new wine that Jesus will provide in His heavenly kingdom. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head
John 15:1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.
