Mark 13:26-27 Job’s Eyesight

Mark 13:26-27

26 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then He will send forth the angels, and will gather together His elect from the four winds, from the farthest end of the earth to the farthest end of heaven.

The word of God points to the two different advent of the Son of God. The first one to be the Sacrifice lamb for all mankind and by His death whoever believes in Him will have salvation.

Matthew 1:21 She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” 22 Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet:

The second advent He comes to gather His elect as the passage says in Mark 13:27, but this prediction of Jesus’ second coming is also in Matthew 24:30-31 and Luke 21:27-28. The gospel of Luke says Jesus comes to give the elect their redemption.

Luke 21:28 But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”

A redemption is what all God’s children are looking forward to, even from the oldest book in the Holy Bible, the man who was so full of integrity, he never cursed God or stopped being his servant when he went through more tribulation than most of any of the servants of our Lord.

Job 19:23 “Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were inscribed in a book! 24 “That with an iron stylus and lead They were engraved in the rock forever! 25 “As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at last He will take His stand on the earth. 26 “Even after my skin is destroyed, Yet from my flesh I shall see God; 27 Whom I myself shall behold, And whom my eyes will see and not another. My heart faints within me!

Job is just like you and I, and many of God’s servants throughout the history of the earth, Job is looking forward to the great harvest that he knew of. The idea of some people being left behind for a second, seems kinda unfair to all those unsaved that died in their sin before Jesus comes in the cloud as gathers all the elect. I mean if there is a second chance for a left behind group of non-believers, why are all the people before this time left out? Has a believer of rapture teaching ever asked, why would God give this opportunity to those who witness many be taken away. Let be completely logical, all people have faith in some kinds of doomsday. If not Jesus coming for a day of judgment, they have ideas of other ways like the sun goes into a supernova or meteor or comet makes life go extinct. Would it be unfair to men like Gandhi, who accept Jesus as a good teacher of humanity, but not as God’s Son, which forfeit him of redemption and as one of the Lord’s elect.  Before I make this blog too long, I will continue with it tomorrow. God bless you all, the Redeemer loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head.

James 5:10  For examples of patience in suffering, dear brothers and sisters, look at the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 We give great honor to those who endure under suffering. For instance, you know about Job, a man of great endurance. You can see how the Lord was kind to him at the end, for the Lord is full of tenderness and mercy.
