John 1:4-5 The Word Is The Architect

John 1:4-5

4 In Him was life, and the life was the Light of mankind. 5 And the Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not grasp it.

The gospel, according to John, wants to remind the reader, Jesus is the word, and His word gives life. Living too many is, breathe, wake, go to work or school, eats, and go back to sleep until they die. In the beginning, God said let the be light, and it was good, all creation was good until Adam and Eve disobey God’s word. The image of man was tarnished, no longer good in God’s eyes. The Old Testament of God’s word is of His promise to return man to His images. Thousands of years later, when God’s word wasn’t so as new to Adam and Eve, the light of God. Living as we wish is a whole easier the living by the light the Lord made us. To be honest, it is sometimes more comfortable. Sometimes a movie that isn’t religious will say that will that is very Biblical. In 1999, a few years before I gave my life to Christ, I went to see the film, “The Matrix.” A sci-fi movie, about where humans are kept in a coma-state, to be used as an energy source. The humans don’t know they are in a coma, cause the intelligent being has them living in a simulated reality, a program call the matrix. The hero of the film’s name is “Neo” he is the chosen one, as the Matrix prophecy predicts that will rescue humanity. In the “Matrix Reload,” a sequel, Neo has a conversation with The Architect of the Matrix system. The Architect is the person who designs the program, the fools the human, is sleeping like coma state, to make them feel they are living normal lives. At first, the Architect tells Neo, the first program he designs, was too perfect, a utopia, where nothing bad happens. The Architect said that the program didn’t work, humans thought something was wrong, so when he redesigns it, he put the chaos of life in the Matrix, and humans were now a part of slave labor, but didn’t know, cause life was normal. It may not seem like slave labor to sleep like a coma, but the human mind sins a lot, and that is where sins start. The life that the Lord created in the garden was absolutely good, but sin removed the goodness of God’s light. Jesus, the light of the world, came to teach, love, and show God’s creation, to live in His image again. The light of Jesus is hard to understand for a human mind that is born to live in the darkness of sin. So that is why it is so hard for the light of Jesus and His word, hard to grasp. If you want more of the Lord’s light in you, my brothers and sister, ask Jesus to say let there be light in you. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I. Samuel H.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is no one else; There is no God except Me. I will arm you, though you have not known Me, 6 So that people may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no one else, 7 The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating disaster; I am the Lord who does all these things.
