1 Samuel 1:20
John 11:32-37 When Jesus Wept

John 11:32-37 When Jesus Wept

John 11:32-37

32 So when Mary came to the place where Jesus was, she saw Him and fell at His feet, saying to Him, “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Therefore when Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who came with her also weeping, He was deeply moved in spirit and was troubled 34 and He said, “Where have you laid him?” They said to Him, “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus wept. 36 So the Jews were saying, “See how He loved him!” 37 But some of them said, “Could this man, who opened the eyes of the man who was blind, not have also kept this man from dying?”

When seeing you and me, Jesus weeps to know who He is but still doubt who Is He is. Jesus weeps when you and I call His Lord but put limits on why He is God Almighty. Jesus’ spirit is trouble when He sees you and me, have anxiety in our hearts, cause He also sees you do not cast all your cares on Him but still want to fix your own problems. Jesus weeps when He sees those who have a lot of knowledge or book smarts, either learning from schools college, or from churches or like seminary where pastors go to learn how to preach. Jesus weeps when He loves you and me, enough to die for our sins but you question or doubt His love simply cause you or I believe or been taught self-love is more important. Jesus weeps when you and I say we have faith in Him, but still, see we need or want physical proof or visual evidence and that even with good eyesight we are truly blind, in faith. Jesus weeps when the word of God says He can raise the dead back to life, but our spiritual life is dead. He weeps when you and I, don’t read His word daily or pray to Him often, He weeps when you say love Him but hate or mistreat others. He weeps when say we are saved by grace, but use grace as permission to sin and not just sin a little but a whole lot. Jesus weeps when you say you love God, go to church or you don’t, and you and I say we love Jesus, but He weeps when we don’t ever share the love of Jesus with others. Do you and I give Jesus a reason to weep or rejoice, I know for myself, I don’t want my Jesus to weep for me, so I say, Jesus don’t cry for me, cause I want to love you more and more every day. God bless you all, Jesus loves you and so do I, Samuel J H.

Numbers 6:25 May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.

Psalm 4:5 Offer sacrifices in the right spirit,   and trust the Lord. 6 Many people say, “Who will show us better times?”  Let your face smile on us, Lord.
