James 2:14-17 Sharing My Faith, With Works
The author of the book of James says in so many ways, our faith requires action, the Lord doesn’t want a church full of pew warmers or members who do absolutely nothing. A member of the Lord’s church should treat it like being on a sports team or a musical group. When I was in little league baseball, I really hated being a benchwarmer and watching the rest of the team being active and even if we were winning I felt really bored. As Christians your faith should have action. Noah used his faith to put a saw to a tree, then hammer to nail cause the Lord gave Noah instruction of how big to make the ark and also how to make it float. Is your faith afloat or is it stinking, if a person is in need and they need food, clothes , a nice place to sleep or money do you offer any. If you don’t do any of the material things to give to the needy, there is nothing to worry, is some of your friendly time and even a prayer, sometimes a prayer a lot to a broken soul. If Noah hadn’t acted on his faith , he and his family would have drown like the rest of the world, it is our job as Christians to tell the family of God about the love of the Lord and how each lost soul can be saved and have a peace of mind, the they are loved more than they can imagine. Don’t let your faith be dead brothers and sister, go bless lost souls with love of Christ, put your faith into action. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and do I. Samuel H.
