Isaiah 56:2-5 Worship Made For Man
2 Blessed is a man who does this, And a son of man who takes hold of it; Who keeps from profaning the Sabbath, And keeps his hand from doing any evil.” 3 Let not the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say, “The Lord will certainly separate me from His people.” Nor let the eunuch say, “Behold, I am a dry tree.” 4 For this is what the Lord says: “To the eunuchs who keep My Sabbaths, And choose what pleases Me, And hold firmly to My covenant,
In the beginning, when God made the male and female, He did not say, “Let Us make the Jews in Our image. In Genesis chapter 2, when God said that the seventh day would be holy, He did not say, let Me make it holy for the Jews, alone. When God made a covenant promise with Abraham, Abraham was not Jewish. Yet God’s word says that Abraham kept the commandments before Moses was born and Mount Sinai. The first Israel Jew was Abraham’s great-grandson, Jacob.
God is not an inclusive God, but ancient Israel felt like Yahweh was only their God. Jacob, Abraham’s great-grandson, is the first Israelite. So, the seventh day Sabbath, was made holy long before anyone was Jewish. The people of Israel were no longer in Israel when Isaiah 56 was written. There is a small remnant of people behind, but most are in Babylonian captivity. The Lord allowed this to happen because the Israel Jews were disobedient to God?. The Lord even told the Jews, He did not honor your Sabbath worship because the blood of disobedience is on your hands.
All the earth is the Lord’s and all who live in it belong to Him and He is the doorway to salvation; Psalm 24 declares this. Isaiah 6:3 declares holy, holy, holy is the Lord and all the earth is full of His glory. In Isaiah 56, the Lord had to tell the Israelite Jews, please allow all. To worship with you. In the gospels, Jesus stated the Sabbath was made for man, not the Sabbath for the Lord. Not that Jesus did not say the Sabbath was made for the Jew, but man. He was repeating what Genesis 1: 26, the holy scripture says.
God did not make heaven and earth for the Jews in Genesis chapter 1, nor created the seventh day holy for the Jews in Genesis chapter 2. God is still the Maker of creation now, and He is still Lord of the Sabbath and always will be. The only real foreigner to God and His Sabbath is those who are not obeying Him and not honoring His holy day. God bless you all; Jesus, the Lord of Sabbath, loves you, and so do I. His humble bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.
Isaiah 56:6 “Also the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord, To attend to His service and to love the name of the Lord, To be His servants, everyone who keeps the Sabbath so as not to profane it, And holds firmly to My covenant; 7 Even those I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; For My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” 8 The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares, “I will yet gather others to them, to those already gathered.”
