Isaiah 42:5-6 The Lives That Matter

Isaiah 42:5-6

 5 Thus says God the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out,Who spread out the earth and its offspring,Who gives breath to the people on it And spirit to those who walk in it, 6 “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,

The Word of God tells us that He created everything, heaven & earth,  He made every man, woman & child. His breath of life flows through each person, allowing them to live. The Bible says that God chose the people of Israel to be His people, but they were supposed to share the Lord with other nations. They acted  selfish children holding on to a favorite toy to themselves. When Jesus the Son of God came & He healed the people of the Hebrews thought they were undesirable. A Roman’s servant cause the Romans to recognize who Jesus was.

Matthew 8:6-10 and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented.” 7 Jesus *said to him, “I will come and heal him.” 8 But the centurion said, Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, ‘Go!’ and he goes, and to another, ‘Come!’ and he comes, and to my slave, ‘Do this!’ and he does it.” 10 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following, “Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.

It is very selfish to think that the God of the universe is the only one God for a group of people, some people look at someone or a group of people & say that inhuman or savages . It takes a lot of pride to say these people’s lives are the only ones that matter or even to say the very same people can only have salvation & will live in the kingdom of heaven. That teaching goes against the word of God & also the God of love. If you truly feel God only loves this race of people, other  lives are  meaningless, just read what scripture says who God shows His favoritism to & who He rewards. Colossians 3:24  Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ. 25 But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has no favorites.
