Exodus 20:13 Do Not Murder His Precious Ones

The laws of of God and Man have very little in common, but to the murder and robbing someone of the gift of life is a sin. The Code of Ur-Nammu is the world’s oldest law and still exists on written on stone tablets, just like the Ten Commandments. Both laws have similar restriction, a man must not murder another, life seem to precious to most people, even if the person isn’t believer of God. The word life is in Scripture 531 times, murder 59 times, kill 301 times and death 459 times. The Lord gave life and not death, His creation dying was not part of His plan and nothing He ever experienced. Death  He told creation was the penalty for disobedience and when they choose to listen to Satan, and by that action, Jesus called the Devil the father of murder.

John 8:44  You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

So therefore, Jesus is saying anyone who commit murder is a child of Satan, he really doesn’t care who lives and dies, but he prefer people who keep God’s commandments.

Revelation 12:17  So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

Life of His creation is precious to God the righteous and unrighteous, all don’t deserve to be murdered. He never meant for anyone to be killed, but law demand the same punishment for murder as The Code of Ur-Nammu,  If a man commits a murder, that man must be killed. But some people who study God’s words might get confused when Ecclesiastes says there is time to kill.

But some people who study God’s words might get confused when Ecclesiastes says there is time to kill. God says it right that a life is taken, then a life  should , if a person is inhuman to to be a murderer, they don’t deserve the gift of life.

Numbers 35:30 ‘If anyone kills a person, the murderer shall be put to death at the evidence of witnesses, but no person shall be put to death on the testimony of one witness. 31 Moreover, you shall not take ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death, but he shall surely be put to death.

As to when life starts is different to man’s law and God’s, and also who ask, some say at conception, so the Catholic church says birth control is forbidden. Some say when the mother give birth so some people say abortion is okay because technically a clump of cells is not life. Scripture says God knew His children even if they are hidden from plain sight, and a clump of cells  is a reward also.

Psalm 139:12 Even the darkness is not dark to You, and the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You. 13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother’s womb. 14  I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works, And my soul knows it very well.

Robbing an innocent person of the gift of life is sin, most people don’t ask to die, cause people spend a lot of money at doctors and hospitals to stay healthy to prolong life. No man or woman should celebrate the ending of a life and they usually don’t especially if that person doesn’t have the Devil as a father. God bless you, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel H.

lol Thanks! It’s funny… I was using Google translate to figure out what God’s Servant was in Hebrew one day, but when I put the Hebrew back into English, it said I was a janitor. 🙂 It got stuck in my brain and I had to use it. Keep it up, sir!
