Romans 5:5-10 Hope for the Enemy

Romans 5:5-10

5 and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.6 For while we were still helpless, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will hardly die for a righteous man; though perhaps for the good man someone would dare even to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

There is hope for all the enemies of the Lord, when I say enemy, that is all who have sinned and disobey God’s Word. The Lord doesn’t choose His enemies, we make God our enemy. The Lord isn’t like most enemies we go to war with, hoping to send them all to Hell and letting the Devil sort sinners out. The Almighty God offers hope to His those who have made Him their enemy. It takes nal surrender. The enemy of the Lord, must realize he/she is fighting a battle that they cannot be won. The Maker of the universe knows everything about me & you,  the famou American Benjamin Franklin quotes “Love your Enemies, for they tell you your faults.’

The Lord knows you I are weak out Him. The message of Hope is that God sent His Son, Jesus to pay for our act of rebellion even apologizing, for something He didn’t even do. Romans 5:5-10 says this message of Hope, hardly ever when someone die for the penalty of another the someone he/she know, but who in world would die or suffer a horrible painful death for something he/she didn’t do already had eternal life, let’s get real with ourselves The Son of God, Jesus is the only Hope, we the sinners & enemies, we have for peace in the this Great Controversy between God & Satan, I choose to surrender myself and accept the message of the cross. God bless you all, the Lord loves you and so do I. Samuel H.

Psalm 130:3 If You, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand 4 But there is forgiveness with You, That You may be feared. 5  I wait for the Lord, my soul does wait, and in His word do I hope.
