Revelation 19:10 Lower Mark
We all need correction, especially when we impulsively sin. But you and I cannot blame John for falling to the ground to worship the angel; he did it a few times in Revelation. The sight of an angel puts reverent fear in the hearts of humans because they do not look like humans. The angels in Isaiah 6 had six like wings, but they still covered their eyes and feet in the presence of God. The angel informed John not to worship him; he is a fellow servant of God like John. The message the angel delivered to John and told him to send to the churches is the testimony of Jesus Christ, not about any angels. My silly sisters are like many who believe that when Christians die, they gain wings and become angels, but that is simply not valid. Some Churches and their members believe they can pray to Mary or other saints, asking them to intercede with God on their behalf. But this is not necessary. God would instead pray to Him directly, and He desires this from us. It is very personal to pray to Him directly; praying to angels or saints is not. I started the Mark of the Beast Series because I was upset about all the false teachings about the Lord’s return, judgment day, and the misunderstanding about the Book of Revelation. This is like how the Apostle Paul felt when he wrote his epistle to the Colossae church, reminding members not to worship angels. That is what carnal-minded people do, and carnal-minded people do not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Carnal minds want to believe what may be more pleasurable to themselves, such as loved ones who have passed and are in a better place and have become angels. To the carnal-minded, these loved ones who have passed on have graduated to the next level. Therefore, the carnal-minded believe dead loved ones who have passed on are having a face-to-face conversation with Jesus Christ. Hence, they think someone they know, like a mother, father, brother, sister, or even grandparent, can intercede for them to Jesus much closer than they can. Some Christians pray to the earthly parents of Jesus, Mary, or Joseph, but they are no different than you and I; they once forgot Jesus was the Son of God.
Some Christians pray to Saints or Church leaders who have passed on long ago, such as Saint Augustine Novena, Saint Jude, and Saint Francis of Assisi, but this is unnecessary and idolatry. The Word of God teaches that only the Lord Almighty is to receive worship, praise, and prayers; this is how we honor and acknowledge His authority. Angels only do Father God’s will, and they are fellow servants of God, like you and I are. They are not higher than God, so they don’t deserve worship. The fallen angels will be judged and condemned, just like the humans were to worship God incorrectly. Keep your heart and mind devoted to God and glorify His Son; the scripture is His testimony, not the angels. God bless you all; Jesus the Great Prince loves you, and so do I, His loyal bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.
