Daniel 7:7-8 A Beastly Little Thorn

Daniel 7:7-8

7 After this, I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth. It devoured and crushed and trampled down the remainder with its feet, and it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns. 8 While I was thinking about the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the previous horns were plucked out before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like human eyes and a mouth uttering great boasts.

The fourth beast in Daniel Chapter 7 is the kingdom of the Roman Empire, which is the Legs of Iron in Daniel Chapter 2 ( Daniel 2:40-43). If a child of God wants to know what a beast is in the book of Revelation, they must read Daniel chapters 7 and 8. A beast is symbolic of a kingdom, nation, or country. The little horn is a blasphemous spiritual empire, and it is the harlot church, and its top priest rules like a king. Therefore, Vatican City is the governmental capital of the Roman Catholic church, and the Pope is the church priest-like emperor. Revelation 13:1 says the beast rises out of the sea, from out of the midst of a large group of people. This means the little horn in Daniel and the beast in Revelation rise to power among a large group of loyal servants. The fall of the Roman Empire started to decline years before it actually failed. Military campaigns increased to gain more territory or protect Rome from constant invasions. Spending Roman money on its military caused inflation, then Roman infrastructure begin to decline. So, Rome had to increase taxes on its people, so the wealthy moved away from the empire to keep their money. Corrupt leaders caused the decline, like Emperor Nero, who set the capital of Rome on fire and blamed it on the Christians because he wanted them executed. He felt like a failure, so he committed suicide. The kingdom was divided into two empires, a Rome to the East and one to the West. Christ’s teaching inspired Constantine the Great to convert, but he never entirely did. Still, in 313AD, Constantine declares Christianity a new religion for Rome. He only did it to bring some civil peace to Rome because he still had loyalty to pagan rituals. This is how the iron empire of the Roman Empire fades into the beastly Empire of the Holy Catholic Church. Romans did not like Israel or Jews; the Old Testament’s Hebrew ways were replaced with sun worship rituals that Romans had practiced centuries before they heard Christ’s teaching and resurrection. The Roman Empire existed for about 2232 years; the United States is 247 years old. Likewise, the US is repeating the same issues that led to the Roman Empire’s failure. A new Dark Age of the new beastly empire will begin when the US collapses. According to church history, the Holy Roman Catholic Church became the first manufactured denomination. God bless you all, the church’s bridegroom, Jesus Christ loves you, and so do I: his humble bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.

Daniel 8:8 Then the male goat made himself exceedingly great. But once he became powerful, the large horn was broken; in its place, four prominent horns came up toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came a rather small horn which grew exceedingly great toward the south, toward the East, and the Beautiful Land. 10 It grew up to the heavenly lights, and some of the lights, that is, some of the stars it threw down to the earth, and it trampled them. 11 It even exalted itself to be equal with the Commander of the army, and it removed the regular sacrifice from Him, and the place of His sanctuary was overthrown. 12 And because of an offense the army will be given to the horn along with the regular sacrifice; it will hurl truth to the ground and do as it pleases and succeed.
