John 3:6 The Spirit Is Willing
That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.
I am not a father, but I know how children behave. Even when they are tiny and cute looking, they are still sinful. Young siblings or young children playing together will be selfish with their toys. Brother and sister will have a tug-of-war battle screaming, “Mine, Mine,” A parent or guardian will have to stop them and tell them to share. The older a child gets, the more independent they will behave and less likely to obey their parents. So, loving parents will train their children to honor them, and home will be a happy heavenly place. Christian parents teach their children about the Lord. They pray for them and teach them how to pray and read God’s word. Christian parents will take their children to the house of God. Teach them to fellowship with other Christians and be part of a church family. Otherwise, children who don’t learn like this will live without actual purpose. In the beginning, God created man and woman in His image, and God is Spirit, and we are not. When our parents, Adam and Eve, disobeyed their Creator’s word, they and we lost the everlasting image God made them in. How do we know this? Just look at God’s word.
Because Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s word, they have driven away from the paradise of Eden, and soon afterward, they passed away. Soon after, they had two sons, and the older son killed the younger son. The spiritual image of God is not murder or not honoring your parent or each other. The image of God is being unhappy. It is supposed to be heavenly. So, one but be born of the Spirit to live a more Spiritual life. Living by the flesh is harmful and not just a little dangerous but deadly harmful. God set His only begotten Son to save the world from sin. All they really have to do is believe Jesus is the Son of God. If Adam and Eve had believed God’s word and eaten the forbidden fruit, they would still be alive in the Garden of Eden. You and I, the children of Adam and Eve, must learn from their mistakes plus from the mistakes we make. Surrender the will and desire of our fleshy desire and let the Spirit of the living God dwell in us. This takes daily surrender and daily sacrifice. It also takes reading God’s word and praying to Him a lot. The more you do it, the more the desires of the flesh will fade away, and the kingdom of heaven will be more treasured. I hope and pray you have found it, and if you have not, ask me, and I will help you. God bless you all; the Holy Spirit loves you, and so do I. His humble bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.
