John 3:5 Submerging Key
Christ of the Abyss is the name of the bronze statues of Jesus that are submerged underwater on purpose. There are about three Christ of the Abyss statues worldwide. The first was placed underwater in the Mediterranean Sea on 22 August 1954. Dario Gonzatti was a pioneer of scuba diving. Deep Sea diving has risks, and sadly, Gonzatti died at the spot where the first Christ of the Abyss was placed. It was a monument for Gonzatti and all others who died in the sea. The Second Christ of Abyss statue was submerged in St. George’s, Grenada, which was to remember a passenger ship that sank there. The third Christ of the Abyss statue was submerged in Florida Key’s 1962. It was to be a monument for Michael Kervorian, pioneer scuba dive shop owner of Miami. Many believe John 3:5 is about baptism, which may be part of the truth. Of course, a person walks with the Lord starts when they surrender to His will and are baptized. But if they don’t keep themselves submerged in their devotion to the Lord, they will not enter the kingdom of God. Completely Submerging in God in prayer and reading His word daily. Submerging to His will and daily repentance is the key to the kingdom of God. Remember, it is His kingdom, not ours; we don’t get there by doing our own will, but His. Many have said to me, I sin daily and ask, what can I do? My answer is this, I, Samuel Jerry Head, “Sin almost daily, and I take it to the Lord in prayer and trust He washes all my sins away.” I submerge myself deep in the word of God. I surrender to the Lord daily and allow myself to die of myself and His will. That is the life of daily worship the Lord wants from you and me. I hope and pray you are doing the same; I am available if you need my help. God bless you all, the Water of life. Jesus loves you, and so do I. His bondservant, Samuel Jerry Head.
