Acts 20:22-24 Spreading the Gospel and No Regard For Myself
Acts 20:22-24
Paul was a very determined man to accomplish, the ministry the Lord Jesus gave him. From the time he was struck down by Jesus’ bright light until he said his goodbyes to this world just before his death in;
Paul went everywhere he knew of to spread the Gospel of Christ & he had no regard for his safety. I don’t know if I had the same disregard for my own life, when it comes to gain souls for the kingdom of God. I remember when my church & the sister church was having a big evangelical series. I was out of work & a seminary came to town to ask people who show interest, about the series & the message of the church . It was fun & exciting when it first started, but when young seminary student ask me to get here & there, I thought to myself, ‘he was to go into the bad neighborhoods, so I embraced it & pointed him into right direction, ( cause we didn’t have GPS then) As we would take to these people, I was freighter within myself wondering if I was gonna hear a gunshot, but my seminary friend was claim & collective. When I heard these people desire to learn about Jesus & His Holy Word, then I wasn’t afraid anymore. I do remember once we were in the man’s house & he was completely drunk & smoking & the cigarette ashes were falling on his bare, & he told us, ‘Get the hell out my house.!’ I don’t have to tell you we left real fast, while the car my seminary friend told me he was scared to death, & I said you are the professional & we just laughed the whole afternoon. Dear brothers & sisters just like Paul & myself, we never know the Spirit of God will lead you, tell others about Jesus. When you gain souls for God’s kingdom you will feel rewarded. God bless you all, the Lord Jesus loves yu & so do I . by Sam H
