Psalm 23:2 Blessed Shepherd Lead Us To Fullness

Psalm 23:2

He lets me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still and quiet waters

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence, people are hoping and wishing for better conditions in their lives.  My  life was like a rat race before accepting Jesus as the Lord and allowing Him to be my Shepherd. Food and water are physical essential needs for living that is what the good shepherd of Psalm 23:2 offers. Life was originally designed by God, to a paradise shelter we really didn’t need, cause the weather was pleasant, there was no rain, no cold or any hot weather. Food and water was provided by God which He had put in the Garden of Eden. When Adam and Eve sinned against God, He told them for now on they will have labor for their meals.

Genesis 3:17  Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; Cursed is the ground because of you; With hard labor you shall eat from it all the days of your life. 18 Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; Yet you shall eat the plants of the field; 19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, until you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

As soon as a meal is eaten and finished  a feeling of being  full and satisfied, but it won’t take long for the feeling of being hungry and thirsty will come again and again. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not go hungry or get thirsty, this is a promise from God , He will give physical and spiritual food and water. In Matthew 5  Jesus preached His sermon on the mount and He told  you and I will be blessed if we are hungry and thirst for righteousness will be satisfied, this is complete fullness and satisfaction.

Matthew 5:6 “Blessed [joyful, by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want He will always have my meal and drink prepared for me. It is relaxing for me to trust in God  hundred percent 100%, not with  just fifty  50% or eighty 80 % or ninety 90% but with all of myself . You can have rest in your life as well, tell the Lord with a simple pray, “ Please Lord Jesus, be my Shepherd so that I will never be in want, I want You to always give me all that I will ever need, in this life and in all of my life evermore, Lord Jesus feed me your daily bread and give me everlasting water, thank You Jesus I trust and know You hear my prayers, In Your name I pray, Amen. God bless you all, the Shepherd loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head.

Jeremiah 33:11  the [sound of the] voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the [song-filled] voice of those who say, “Give praise and thanks to the Lord of hosts,For the Lord is good; For His [steadfast] lovingkindness (mercy) endures forever”; and of those who bring a thank offering into the house of the Lord. For I will restore the fortunes of the land as they were at first,’ says the Lord. 12 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘There will again be in this desolate place—[a place] without man or animal—and in all its cities, pastures for shepherds who rest their flocks.
