Psalm 22:20-21 Saving the Body, Breathe and A Living Soul
Was it the Messiah Jesus who was sacred of death or was King David sacred of death, the Psalm 22:20– was talking about . This might be puzzling by scripture to a person who knows what Jesus said many times that He would defeat death, but on the 0ther hand David is not immortal so this scripture would say that David is asking God to save him from the sword. Let’s take this scripture on by other parts of scripture. Many people believe the soul of person is eternal, but is that what scripture teaches? What is a soul really according to the Bible, is separate or apart, or does the body and soul co-exist ? In Genesis chapter 1 is God creating heaven and earth, in the verses of 26-27 it says , let Us make man in our own images, that mean man and women. Chapter 2 goes into more detail of the creation of mankind most of everything God created He said let it be and came to be, but with man He took dust from the ground He made on the third day of creation, Genesis 1:9. With that dust the body of man was like clay and became a body but it didn’t have any life yet just a shall of man. The Lord knew what it took to give the shall of man life, it was the breath that came from His mouth.
That scripture is quite different from the belief of most Christian churches, but does the word of God support that the body is nothing with the soul or the breath of God. How can this help us understand, when Jesus was on the cross, He held on to life until He paid the full penalty of my and your sins, when He accomplished the mission of saving man from their sins, He gave up His spirit with a loud voice and died.
Matthew 27:50 And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and gave up His spirit.
John 19:30 Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit.
I don’t know if you see what I see here, in Genesis 1 and the story of creation, with the voice of God has let there be light and all creation began. The first man and woman did have eternal life when they had access to the tree of life, but because they had doubt in God’s word and disobey Him. Adam did die as the Lord told him he would , when he ate the wrong fruit, and if you think he didn’t die, have you seen him lately?
Genesis 5:5 So all the days that Adam lived were 930 years, and he died.

Tears that fall when one dies or funerals service that happen where a pastor who will read Psalm 23, take place cause sin exist and because of it death exist. The only way man or woman can have eternal life is by eating from the tree of life, which was in the garden of Eden and is the kingdom of God. God bless you all, the Creator of life loves you and so do I. Samuel J Head
