2 Corinthians 12:18-21 I Wanna See You Living For Christ,True Repentance

2 Corinthians 12:18-21

18 I urged Titus to go, and I sent the brother with him. Titus did not take any advantage of you, did he? Did we not conduct ourselves in the same spirit and walk in the same steps? 19 All this time you have been thinking that we are defending ourselves to you. Actually, it is in the sight of God that we have been speaking in Christ; and all for your upbuilding, beloved. 20 For I am afraid that perhaps when I come I may find you to be not what I wish and may be found by you to be not what you wish; that perhaps there will be strife, jealousy, angry tempers, disputes, slanders, gossip, arrogance, disturbances; 21 I am afraid that when I come again my God may humiliate me before you, and I may mourn over many of those who have sinned in the past and not repented of the impurity, immorality and sensuality which they have practiced.

The closer a person’s walk or relationship gets to the Lord, the less he or she has strife or stress in their lives. A person with a good & strong walk with God, can see the trouble when he repeats sin over & over. The apostle Paul, wrote a second letter  (2 Corinthians) to this young church which is called the 2 Corinthians, you should be in the Lord’s church, if you haven’t truly repented & continue to keep repeatedly the sin you ask repentance for. I once lived with a friendly couple, who were just boyfriend & girlfriend, (Chris & Beth ) .They saw me go to church & knew they were gone for a few hours on the Sabbath Day of worship.  The girl had said to me once, ‘Oh you are a Christian, Nice!. ” I never said anything about their lifestyle or made any judgment remarks, I just live there & occupy the same house. Once while me & Chris were playing rummy & told why him & Beth hated Christianity & church members. Chris told me that his girlfriend, her grandfather had repeatedly sexual abuse her, & he even said,” I am Christian, & God will forgive after committed sexual abuse against my granddaughter,” I told Chris in my reply, that is not true repentance. Paul had said to this young growing church, I hope you have truly repentance & not repeating the sins that gave you separation from God your Creator. The Bible say the Lord God does not understand sin & disobedience, His  sense of sight & sound are far from sin.

Isaiah 59:1 Behold, the Lord’s hand is not so short That it cannot save; Nor is His ear so dull That it cannot hear.2 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God,And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.

Before I called myself a man of God, I could watch movies or tv with foul language, I really loved, “Smokey & the Bandit’ , I loved loud rock music, & if it had a sticker on the album warning of foul & I would love it more. But when i repent & ask God come live in my heart, my desire to swear or cuss, more wholesome words came out. My favorite movies are detectable now, My music cd’s i sold or gave away, cause wanted music to praise God with. Brothers & sisters, I’m a perfect Christian, a bad word will slip out my mouth, I might look down at my shirt & the words “I Love Jesus” & I see & hear wonder if I stole this Christian T-shirt. The surrendering community may not go to church, or call themselves,  son’s & daughters of God, but know enough, when we call our Christian, we are slandering God’s name. True happiness doesn’t come from doing whatever we please in our eyes, true happiness comes from knowing when God sees us living to please Him, He won’t mourn, He will smile & give you peace in your heart. Please give true repentance to the Lord or God & be a most pleasing sight in His eyes. God bless & I hope you have a blessed weekend. Sam H.

1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;22 and whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight.23 This is His commandment, that we believe in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, just as He commanded us.
