1 John 4:7-8 God Is Love, He is Real
Since 2007 my ministry has been done by text message, email, or social media. These last few years are not the only time I wrote devotionals or blogs. In the beginning, I only sent Bible verses by text message. In 2011, writing lessons began, cause I wanted to teach, the verses I shared. I did for a while and experience a rough period in my life, and I went back to only, Bible verses again, but return to God and back to teaching God’s word. One time, I decided to write lessons about God’s creation from Genesis chapter 1. In my study, God’s word showed me something that I can still remember. On the fifth day of creation, God made animals; those swimming in the water flew in the sky or crawled on the ground. On the sixth day, God said, “Let Us make man in our own image. The Lord gave the man and woman He made dominion over the animals in His image, and they were told to rule with love.
There was no death, murder, or killing initially; when the Lord was done, He said it was all good. Adam and Eve ate vegetation, and the animals did likewise. When disobedience entered the world, hate and death became a part of life. Some animals became carnivorous, mankind ate meat as well. So for them, hunting and killing were necessary. Not only that but the sacrifice of animals was also required for the forgiveness of sin. Even so, love is a gift from God and is a part of life. It takes love for a man to marry a woman to be his wife. It takes love for them to create a family. It takes love for a woman, who gave birth to a newborn baby to love her child and forget the pain she just experienced. Children learn to go in love from the voice and touches of their parents. In a proper world, by God’s design, a boy meets a girl, or a girl sees a boy, and they try to when each other’s love. Little puppies and kittens are lovable; they heal the elder and young. God created marriage to be a union of two people, even if same-sex couples get married. Marriage only exists because God said a man should not be alone. God also told the male and female to be fruitful and multiply. Two people of same-sex can’t do that. Love is a powerful emotion. Most music that is made or heard is about love. People will work and do labor to provide for those they love. Dating services exist because people are looking for the love of their life. “Oh my God,” is said when love is intense and full of passion. When a child is born, it is the labor if it is the parent’s love. Co-workers respectfully love each other. Mercy and kindness are shown to strangers as a sign of love. If anyone experiences the emotion of love, it is a feeling and a gift. God put the emotion of love in everyone’s heart. My friends, have you ever felt love? Tell your creator God, thank You, for the gift of love. If you are witnessing about God, say just this, God is real, my friend, simply because love exists and love is, and God is love.
