1 Corinthians 2:10-13 Spiritually Minded Or Spiritually Stupid
Albert Einstein (March 14- April 18, 1955) was a famous man with the mind of a genius. He developed the theory of relativity, which many people still can’t understand. His thoughts on God and religion are not discussed much, but his quote is, ‘The more I study science, the more I believe in God.’ But Einstein did not believe in the God of the Holy Bible. He was agnostic, just like Charles Darwin. Einstein’s lifestyle reflected that he didn’t have spiritual thoughts of God. He was always unfaithful to any girlfriends or wives he had. In his writings, he said monogamy(that means to have a relationship with one spouse) was a “Bitter Fruit.” He had cheated on his first wife with his cousin. Einstein even said in his writings,’ I am sure you know that most men (as well as several women) are not monogamously endowed by nature.’ Albert Einstein may have been a smart genius, but he was spiritually stupid and lived only to serve himself. His wives had said he had stringent demands about how his laundry be kept in order, regular meals in his room, & his room be kept neat, and his desk is left alone. The spiritual words of the Lord tell a husband to be faithful to his wife.
Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
A Spiritually minded man, who is not led by the flesh & who knows the Spiritual words of God, will not tell him to be unfaithful to his wife or even want to leave the mother of his children if he does. His only love is for himself & his next wife is foolish for thinking he will be faithful to her. I try to be a spiritually-minded man. I read and study God’s words, but the old spiritual stupid part of my mind is a part of me. So I know I need to give more of myself to Christ so that in my life, I will not have the desire to be spiritually stupid;
Galatians 5:24 Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I pray for myself and you also that we all can spend more time in the spiritual words of God so that we can have the Spiritual mind and thoughts of our Lord and His peace of mind in our hearts and lives. Others will see our joy and peace, our faithful relationship with loved ones and the Lord. In these times when we are told to stay home and read our Bibles more, and in that way, we will learn how to be more spiritually minded; God bless you and be at peace with your walk with God.
Isaiah 55:8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord.9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return there without watering the earth and making it bear and sprout, and furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; 11 So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
