1 Corinthians 15:42-49 Perishable To Imperishable Resurrection Truth
1 Corinthians 15:42-49
The hope the believers of the Jesus Christ have is that the gift of life He gives, goes on, every person enjoys life, cause death is absolutely knowing nothing;
But many people, even believers, don’t understand resurrection & it is so foreign to human thoughts. The ancient Egyptian believe when someone dead soul, was guided by the Egyptian gods to the afterlife. So what they believe was something that happened but was not seen, by the naked eye, the following Egyptian that walked around the dead Egyptian’s tombs & the same tombs or pyramids we see today. But the bodies of the famous Egyptian kings & queens aren’t there, they are in a museum somewhere. The Bible says in the KJV when Adam was created, he was just a body, but when the Lord God creator breathed into Adam the breath of life, Adam became a living-soul, so before God breath, Adam was just a body & God breath, was Adam’s life source or his spirit.
Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Adam is the first man from earth, & Jesus is the first man from heaven, He came to be God with us; & He is also the image of the invisible God.
Matthew 1:23 “Behold, the virgin shall be with child and shall bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which translated means, “God with us.”
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
So if Jesus resurrection was visible for all to see, His soul was not guided away, like the ancient Egyptian believe that happen to the dead. Just like Jesus, His saint will die with Perishable Body, but then be resurrection with a Imperishable Body, that can exist in the eyesight of the Lord, cause the perishable human body, cannot survive in the eyesight or God, & living in the Kingdom of God would be impossible in sinful perishable body;
Exodus 33:19 And He said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the Lord before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.” 20 But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!
Dear brothers & sisters, I look forward to the day when the dead in Christ are resurrected & the saints receive new Imperishable bodies. So that we can spend forever at the Lord Jesus’ feet & looking at His beautiful face & not have to worry about death, cause His death of cross, made it possible for me & you to have everlasting life. Tell me are ready for the day of resurrection of our brothers & sisters in Christ, where the first man Adam to the present saints of the Lord will all receive Imperishable bodies & everlasting life. Sorry if this devotional is a little long, but there is a lot of this subject. God bless you all, the Lord loves you & so do I. Sam H.
Romans 6:5 For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,
